The track and field team traveled to Orangeburg Prep to compete in the last in-season track meet on Wednesday, April 13 before Spring Break. Caleb Kline placed fourth in triple jump jumping 38 feet 1.5 inches. Mitchell Floyd placed fifth jumping 38 feet. Caleb Kline placed second jumping 19 feet and 1 inch in long jump. William Caulder got second place in Javelin with 98 ft. 2 in. Billie Ann Patrick placed second with 28 feet 11 inches in the shot put. Iva Grace Wilson placed fifth throwing 26 feet and 2 inches in the shot put. Austin Ard placed third throwing 35 feet and 9 inches in the shot put. Billie Ann Patrick got third place throwing 80 feet in discus. Austin Ard got fourth place throwing 100 feet 1 inch in discus.
In the track division, William Caulder placed second to earn 8 points in the 3200m run. Kaydn Cooper, Billy Godwin, Matthew Stone, and Hardy Brown won first place to earn 10 points in the 4x800m relay. Abby Cox placed second to earn 8 points in the 100m hurdles. Amelia Floyd placed fifth to earn 2 points in the 100m hurdles. Mitchell Floyd won first place to earn 10 points in the 110m hurdles. Kam Morris placed fifth to earn 2 points in the 110m hurdles. Camden Moore placed second to earn 8 points in the 100m dash. Jenna Kate Burgess won first place to earn 10 points in the 1600m run. William Caulder placed third to earn 6 points in the 1600m run. Hardy Brown placed fifth to earn 2 points in the 1600m run. Camden Moore, Kam Morris, Teague Ward, and Caleb Kline placed second to earn 8 points in the 4x100m relay. Teague Ward won first place to earn 10 points in the 400m dash. Luke Cowley placed fifth to earn 2 points in the 400m dash. Abby Cox placed third to earn 6 points in the 400m hurdles. Amelia Floyd placed sixth to earn 1 point in the 400m hurdles. Mitchell Floyd won first place to earn 10 points in the 400m hurdles. Kam Morris placed fourth to earn 4 points in the 400m hurdles. Kaydn Cooper placed fifth to earn 2 points in the 400m hurdles. Teague Ward placed third to earn 6 points in the 800m run. Hardy Brown placed fourth to earn 4 points in the 800m run. Sarah Kensley Kellahan placed third to earn 6 points in the 200 meter dash. Camden placed second to earn 8 points in the 200 meter dash. Amelia Floyd, Abby Cox, Hannah Hall, and Sarah Kensley Kellahan won first place to earn 10 points in the 4x400m relay. Caleb Kline, Luke Cowley, Kam Morris, and Mitchell Floyd placed second to earn 8 points in the 4x400m relay.
The Girls team placed 3rd and scored 59 points total and the Boys team placed 1st and scored 140 points total.
