Friday night was an electrifying display of small town, rivalry football. Pee Dee Academy was an undefeated opponent going up against your undefeated WA Stallions. The first quarter started strong, with the Stallions coming out on top 14-8. After another touchdown and 2 point conversion in the heat of the second quarter, Pee Dee Academy led at the half 16-14. The Stallion defense held strong coming out of the locker room, forcing two fumbles (one of which was recovered),and holding PDA to one touchdown in the second half. The pass-and-run game worked well as quarterback Conrad Balder passed and rushed to bring in multiple 3rd and 4th quarter touchdowns. With the final buzzer rang out, your Stallions had laid the Eagles to rest with a final score of 41-22. This victory is a big deal for Williamsburg Academy. Though this may not have been region play, the Eagles were a AAA team taken down by a thundering herd of AA Stallions.
