This week our alumni spotlight falls on Merianne Cowley. Merianne, graduated from Williamsburg Academy as a part of the class of 1989. While attending school, she participated in NHS, was a cheerleader her junior year, Senior class president, Chief Marshall, and Valedictorian of her class. After graduating high school, she attended Coker University and earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Math and Religion in 1993. She later earned her Masters Degree in Accountancy at the University of Phoenix in 2012. Now, Merianne works as the finance director at the Town of Kingstree, where she has been for almost 11 years. She has 2 kids, Regan Cowley, who is an alumni of Williamsburg Academy and the current music and drama teacher at WA, and Luke Cowley, who is currently a senior at Williamsburg Academy.
