
This week’s alumni spotlight falls on Stephen Cherinko. Stephen grew up in Kingstree, SC and graduated from Williamsburg Academy in 1996. From there, he continued his education, receiving a BS in Chemical Engineering from Clemson University. He and his wife Kerri (class of 1995) have two boys, Seth and Christopher who attend Williamsburg Academy. He is a member of Precious Blood Church in Pawleys Island. The majority of his career has been with Martek/DSM where he has worked for the past 18 years. While there, he has received multiple patents and awards for Innovation. He is currently the Process Engineering Manager for the Site and heads the co-op program which allows college students to gain valuable career experience while earning their degree. In his spare time, Stephen has coached multiple youth teams and was the Cubmaster for the Georgetown Cub Scout Pack. He enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, camping, golfing and fishing.
