Each week we recognize our alumni and this week we are recognizing and honoring Mr. Walter Rogan, class of 1974. Walter grew up in Greeleyville, South Carolina. After graduation, he attended the University of South Carolina and graduated in 1979 with a B.S. in Pharmacy. After college, he began his career at the Kingstree CVS where he worked for two and a half years. On February 25, 1982, he opened up his own pharmacy in Greeleyville, South Carolina. This year Greeleyville Pharmacy is celebrating its 40th year of service. Walter was awarded Merchant of the year in ‘96 and Best Pharmacist and Pharmacy in 2018. He and his wife, Melissa Rogan, reside in Greeleyville. They have three daughters, one son, and 12 grandchildren.
