Williamsburg Academy welcomes three new faculty members for its 2021-2022 school year, Dr. Steve Corey, Mrs. Beth Ward, and Mrs. Faye Gamble.
Dr. Steve Corey is a graduate of St. John’s University; and attended medical school at The University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Corey is no stranger to the halls of Williamsburg Academy. He has coached various sports teams including football, baseball, and softball. Dr. Corey has four children: Steven Jr, Michael, and Alexandra, who are alumni and Ryan who is currently in the 11th grade.
Mrs. Beth Ward is a graduate of Williamsburg Academy. She is married to Delta Ward and they have three children: Anna, Leah, and Shuler. She is looking forward to returning to her alma mater as an interventionist and proctor. Mrs. Ward is hoping to help every student succeed and reach the next chapter in their life. Mrs. Ward is also looking forward to supporting the Stallions sports teams throughout this year and many more to come.
Mrs. Faye Gamble is a graduate of Francis Marion University. Mrs. Faye began her teaching career in 1975. She has taught at Olanta, Lake City Jr. High, and spent 20 years as a guidance counselor at East Clarendon. Mrs. Gamble is eager to get back into the classroom and teach her new fifth grade students. Mrs. Faye has two children, one of which is also in the teaching profession, and the other is in business.
