FCA met on the 23rd of August for its first official meeting of the 2019-2020 school year. Ian Geimer, the pastor of First Baptist Church in Kingstree, opened up with a prayer and introduced everyone to John Bootsie Griggs. Mr. Griggs is the regional director of FCA in the Pee Dee Area. Our FCA was complimented as to having one of the best FCA Huddles in the Pee Dee area. Mr.Griggs talked to the students about being happy for others’ success and the importance about cheering on your teammates and friends. He left a lasting impression when he said, ” Forget about yesterday or as far as a year ago, it doesn’t matter anymore just keep going and be the best you can be.”
