Gracie Graham is a 2022 graduate of Williamsburg Academy. She was very involved in
every aspect of WA student life, especially cheerleading and SCISA state activities.
One of her proudest accomplishments was being the recipient of the Heart of the
Stallion award.
Gracie is now in her senior year of Newberry College where she is majoring in Business
Administration and minoring in English. In her time at Newberry, she’s been involved in
many aspects of campus such as the Summerland Honors Program, Chi Alpha Sigma
student athlete Honors Society, the Newberry College Cheerleading Team, Student
Athletic Advisory Committee, the Student Ambassador Organization, Housing and
Residence Life, and Kappa Delta Sorority. Gracie also works as a staff member for 9
Panel Cheer Productions. Additionally, she worked for the Universal Cheerleading
Association for two summers. This year she was honored with the title Homecoming
Royalty. She has been awarded the J.T. Pete Barry Memorial Endowment Athletic
Scholarship as well as the J Eugene Norris Memorial Scholarship. Next semester, she
will be doing an internship with the Newberry College Admissions office.
Being very involved in the Newberry community and maintaining a high GPA is an
important accomplishment for Gracie. Both have allowed her to get additional
scholarships to graduate debt free. She has also made many professional connections
across the world.
She is forever grateful for everything that Williamsburg Academy has given her. She
states the school is such a special place that you do not really appreciate until you
graduate. She is thankful for all the support, text messages, and prayers from everyone
these past few years.
